I love this image. And not just for the wallpaper. I have an affinity for beautiful, "worldly" objects but something about buying them at Pier 1 seems wrong. I need to earn them as souvenirs from my travels. Indeed.

Design Appreciation.

I recently was introduced to Barcelona-based designer, Alex Trochut's work via a blog that I frequent. It's nice to be reminded of true creativity in a world where many of us are struggling to even be granted the opportunity to work on lame projects! I appreciate his ability to use type as a conceptual starting point. It's a place that I often forget to explore when taking on a project.

I'm gonna save up for a print of this piece, "10 Ways to Get a Job".
